在错过了约罗和纳乔的离开后，皇马急需在夏季转会市场上寻找一名中后卫。西班牙国脚拉波尔特是皇马的主要目标。据悉，球员本人对于加盟皇马非常高兴，但利雅得胜利并不想轻易放走他。

去年，拉波尔特与利雅得胜利队签订了一份为期三年的合同，球员的年薪为税后2400万欧元。现在，为了加盟皇马，拉波尔特愿意接受降薪。然而，利雅得胜利在一年前花费2700万欧元从曼城引进了拉波尔特。今年夏天，沙特豪门没有免费放走西班牙中卫的计划。
